What Happens in a Session

From intake to integration.

1

Intake

Two-minute read of what your nervous system is running today. Where the tension lives, what the sleep looks like, what the last week has been.

2

Bowl on Body

You lie face-up or face-down. The 432Hz crystal bowl is placed directly on the body, sacrum, low back, sternum, between the shoulder blades, and struck. You don't listen. You feel it travel through you.

3

The Arc

Bowl placement moves through the body in a polyvagal arc, from activation to regulation to encoding. Each bowl sits where the body is holding the next layer.

4

Integration

The last five minutes are silent. The nervous system continues integrating. You get up slowly. Water. No phone for the drive home.

How VST differs from a group soundbath

The bowl is on you, not overhead.

A group Soundbath Haven session is a held field, you lie down and the frequency washes over the room. Beautiful, effective, communal. Vibrational Sound Therapy is a different tool. The bowl sits on your body and is struck there, sacrum, low back, sternum, between the shoulder blades. The vibration doesn't arrive through air; it enters through tissue. You feel it in the bones. That's the point.

Both practices belong. Group soundbaths teach the nervous system what a regulated field feels like. VST works the layers group work can't reach, the specific holding patterns in the specific tissue of your specific body.

Common questions

Do I need to do anything to prepare?
Loose clothing. Eat something small an hour before, not right before. No caffeine that day if you're sensitive. Bring water for after. The full walk-through lives on the preparation page.
How is this different from the SBH Private Soundbath ($495)?
The Private Soundbath is a 60-minute held field, bowls played around your body in a calibrated arc, integrated with intake and integration. VST is bowls placed on the body and struck, a more targeted somatic tool at a lower price point.
How often should I come?
Weekly for the first three sessions if you're using the arc for something specific. Biweekly for ongoing maintenance. Monthly for pattern-holding once the baseline is set.
Package expiration windows, why 4 months and 12 months?
The 3-pack window is 4 months so the sessions cluster tightly enough to consolidate. The 6-pack window is 12 months so you can space them across the year as your body needs, a monthly rhythm works well.
Can I share a package with my partner?
Yes, packages are transferable within your household. Once the first session is used it becomes non-refundable.
Is this a substitute for medical care?
No. VST is a somatic support practice. It is not a substitute for licensed medical or psychological care. If you have a pacemaker or metal implants, tell Noura at intake so bowl placement can be adjusted.

Prefer the held-field version?

The SBH Private Soundbath ($495, 60 min) plays the bowls around your body in a polyvagal arc, a deeper full-field reset with intake and integration built in.
